Big Changes!

Most of you who know me know that I am a HUGE advocate for leaving kids in a crib as long as they like it and don't start jumping out. (Hadley!). The reason being, I moved Trey around 20 mths just because I was ready and he pretty much gave up naps. It became obvious that he just wasn't ready for that change yet. He also began getting up extremely early in the morning just because he could!
Well, Saturday night when we got home from the hospital Addison developed an extreme fear of getting in her crib. She still felt awful and was beyond tired. I tried to lay her in there and she immediately jumped out and landed on her head. I decided that there would be no more crib for her! (Eventually later that night we were able to lay her in there asleep and she stayed the whole night.) I have to say the transition has gone very smoothly. She has napped in there a few times and slept great last night. I pray this continues!!

In case you were wondering, Addy feels sooo much better today. Yesterday and this morning she was still very cranky and sleepy but this afternoon she has just turned a corner and become her regular sassy self. There has been a lot of hitting, yelling, and telling me NO. Ahhh...my little girl is back. I am trying really hard not to allow this behavior just because I feel so bad for what she went through because I know it will just create even more of a monster! However, it's pretty hard not to enjoy the hitting and yelling because it's such a difference in 24 hours.
